This is my web experiment. Here I will chronicle my online business journey, and I’ll check out a bunch of stuff related to WordPress. This is also a test bench for other projects I’m working on elsewhere (like this one). Stay tuned for more on that. Feel free to comment it up everywhere and join in on the fun any way you can — or even send me an email from the Contact page.
Topics on this site may include (but are not limited to) God, acoustic guitar, coffee, tea, WordPress & WordPress plugins, online business…and maybe some random thoughts for the day!
I didn’t expect you to read this far, so anyway…might as well give you more info…
About Me
The more I think about this site, the more I realize it’s just as much about me, the creator/author of the site, as it is about the site itself. Sure the site is a project, but it’s also an extension of me. So I’ve decided to create this page to tell you all a little bit more about me, my life, and my beliefs…
Where
I’m a Louisiana native, now living in Alabama (woo!). I love it here, and it’s where I met my wife, Anna. We met a Harvest Church in Mobile, and that’s where I currently attend & serve. Awesome place. If you’re ever in the area on a Sunday, I highly recommend you visit us for a service.
Why
Every “why” of my life stems from the fact that I am a Christian, and I try to follow the Bible as a whole the best I can. My morals, decisions, beliefs, and actions are seen through the lens of the Bible. I believe it is God’s authoritative word. I also believe Jesus is the son of God, born of a virgin, crucified for all our sins, and he rose on the 3rd day — alive NOW. I could go on and on about how my relationship with God has impacted the course of my life, but I’m not going to take up too much more space here for now. Send me an email if you have any questions.
…and YES, I really do believe this stuff 🙂
Who
I am an IT guy at a web hosting company here in Mobile, so that’s where I get my affinity for techie stuff…or maybe that’s why I have this job…whichever it is!
I believe that family is one of the most important things in our lives. My wife and I base many of our decisions on our love for family and our desire to build a unit of our own some day. We believe (and KNOW) it is coming.
[more to come…]
