I’ve settled on a name for our online business:
Genesis, because it means beginning, but mostly because I wanted something that related to the Bible. The book of Genesis is the foundation of the rest of God’s word. I want our business to be planted in God’s word as well. I could go on and on about Genesis and the creation story, but that will have to wait until another post someday.
Bay, because we live in Mobile, and there’s a bay here, but also a bay is a place where things are stored and distributed from.
So putting the two words together…
Our business is going to be a company that operates according to God’s word and creates and distributes digital solutions (websites, services, etc…). The tag line is “Digital Creations” – paying homage to the book of Genesis and the creation story.
As of the time of this writing, the Genesis Bay site is still a work in progress. 😎
